Rory Midhani

Rory Midhani

Painter & illustrator Rory Midhani makes artwork about queer and trans people living their lives and loving it. He creates mixed-media pieces, paintings, and drawings all which playfully celebrate the lives of the queer community. 

His artworks have been featured in publications and exhibitions across Europe and North America, and he has worked as an illustrator for an international client base. Past clients include Buzzfeed, Medium, Folx Health, Transgender Europe, Flow Magazine, Curve, Siegessäule, Planned Parenthood and Autostraddle.

Our LGBTQIAUFO queer jigsaw puzzle (1000 pieces) was illustrated by Rory Midhani, a Berlin-based painter and illustrator whose vibrant, mixed-media work celebrates queer and trans life in all its joy. Rory has also designed other Polar Embassy favorites, including our bestselling Club of Queens queer playing cards.

What can I do with a finished 1000-piece puzzle?

  • Creative destruction: Take it apart and share it — gift it to a friend, donate to a local community center, or sell it.
  • Hang it on the wall: Frame your completed Berlin jigsaw puzzle as a unique piece of art.
  • Recycle it: Only as last resort, please! The box and puzzle contain no plastic and are fully recyclable. You can reuse the cotton bag or check with local recycling guidelines.
