  • What do I do with a finished puzzle?

First of all, congrats to you for finishing it! 1000 pieces is a lot. Enjoy that found-the-last-piece feeling for as long as you can, and then:

    • Creative destruction: you could take it apart and give it to a friend, donate it to a community center in your neighbourhood, or sell it.
    • Hang it on the wall: you can get a frame and put it up as decoration.
    • Recycle it: definitely the least climate-friendly option here - please only as a last resort! The box and puzzle contain no plastic, so it's completely recyclable. Either re-use the cotton bag for something else or check with your local waste management to see how to recycle it.
  • How are puzzles made? And where?

Our puzzles are made here in Germany. We shared some behind-the-scenes photos showing how are puzzles are produced here on our Instagram.

Artist and architect Bruno Pinto da Cruz sits at a table with his colourful, geometric designs on the table. He is wearing a black sweater, with one hand on the table, and the other holding his chin.

About the Artist

Bruno Pinto da Cruz is an Architect and Illustrator based in Lisbon/Berlin who created ISOMATIC, a sequence of isometric drawings transformed into illustrations, unveiling the urban scenario in different colours and shapes.

Bruno focuses on Berlin’s iconic neighbourhoods like Kottbusser Tor, Kurfürstendamm and Oberbaumbrücke. Without any attempt at realism, these images capture the essence of such places and create a very optimistic and cheerful utopia vision of these neighbourhoods. They become playful and flooded with color, small paradises inhabited by dinosaurs, wild animals, sculptures or exotic trees. Such figures replace the real people that belong to these urban landscapes and they are somehow an artistic exploration of the imaginary of the city. They live in almost a parallel existence with each other, making the represented space more dramatic – a fantastic wonderland.

Perfect balance of fun, challenging and artistic!!

Really great and one of a kind puzzle, especially for a Berlin resident like myself :) On top of what you expect from a 1000-piece puzzle (great but very nuanced variety in colours & patterns, just the right amount of complexity), it was really fun getting to notice all the tiny details left by the artist, who captures very well the bustling, eclectic and colourful atmosphere of the Kotti area!
The added bonus: the end result is simply a really cool and artistic poster, absolutely worth keeping intact and displaying in the house!

Makes you hungry for more (and ice cream)!

We got to try the puzzle and had so much fun! It’s definitely a challenge but it has so many different little oddities and details to discover along the way, so it doesn’t get too frustrating . We especially loved the different sprinkles patterns which kept making us crave ice cream! Great colours and a lot of fun to put together ☺️ 10/10 would recommend!
