Rory Midhani’s card drawings on the Club of Queens deck of playing cards are smart, sexy and sassy, incorporating a stylish collection of “clubbers, drag, nude and leather” queer cuties on every card. The card stock is durable and the size of the cards makes them easy to hold and deal. Highly recommended!

Cutest Card Set I own

This is by far my most favorite set of playing cards. The illustrations are super cute and the print and material are very high quality. I got two for myself as a Canaster Set and ordered a bunch more as presents for my queer friends. <3

  • What's special about this deck?

    Each suit is dressed according to the characters’ subcultures: Diamonds in drag, Spades in Leather, Clubs in Clubwear, and Hearts in.. nothing at all, they’re naked! As the number of the cards goes up, a new character joins the party, for a total of 54 lovable lil' queer characters across the deck.

  • What games can we play with it?

    Perfect for queer Poker nights, Rummy raves, Crazy Eight kikis, Blackjack balls and Texas Hold Me’s ;) Here are more of our favorite games you can play with the deck.

  • What order are the cards in?

    In our deck, Queens trump Kings. But you can play however you like :)

Our card decks are printed Cradle to Cradle certified Silver in Melk, Austria.

This means: only renewable energy was used in production, and the materials (FSC-certified paper and non-toxic inks) are safe and fully recyclable.

Pollution footprint

We aim for a net positive impact from our product's production, transport, and consumption. 

Producing each deck emits about 0.18kg CO2, which our supplier offsets by 110%. We share more about this below.

About 0,18kg CO2e is emitted from making each deck. This includes production of the paper, plates, and inks, the printing itself, and the delivery from our supplier in Austria to our warehouse in Berlin.

Our supplier offsets about 0,20kg CO2e per deck via climate protection measures onsite and reforestation projects in the Global South.

About the Artist

Painter & illustrator Rory Midhani makes artwork about queer and trans people living their lives and loving it. He creates mixed-media pieces, paintings, and drawings all which playfully celebrate the lives of the queer community. 

His artworks have been featured in publications and exhibitions across Europe and North America, and he has worked as an illustrator for an international client base. Past clients include Buzzfeed, Medium, Folx Health, Transgender Europe, Flow Magazine, Curve, Siegessäule, Planned Parenthood and Autostraddle.
