Handmade and upcycled

Our Club of Queens upcycled t-shirt celebrates both drag queens and circular economic principles. The design features nine iconic queens from our bestselling Club of Queens queer playing cards, illustrated by Berlin-based artist Rory Midhani.

Each shirt is upcycled from secondhand cotton tees, carefully sourced from local stores, then bleached, washed, and hand screenprinted in Berlin by the queer-feminist studio Badass Prints. Because we start with reclaimed garments, every shirt is truly one of a kind — unique in color, texture, and history. No two pieces are identical, and that’s exactly what makes them special: a little imperfect, wonderfully distinctive, and absolutely fabulous. 🌈

How do I find my size if each shirt is upcycled?

Since the shirts are upcycled from secondhand stores, sizing labels vary. We measure each shirt by WIDTH × LENGTH from the collar and list them in our own size chart. We suggest you measure a t-shirt you own for the best fit.

Are all shirts the same color and style?

No. Each upcycled shirt is one of a kind. While the print design is the same, shirt color, shade, and design placement vary.

How should I care for my shirt?

Wash inside-out in cold water, ideally on a gentle cycle. Air dry to extend the life of the print and fabric. Iron with a sheet of paper between the iron and ink.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Yes, within 14 days. We cannot cover return shipping, and we recommend reviewing the size chart before ordering. More about our return policy here.

Since our shirts are upcycled from secondhand stores, the sizing labels are inconsistent.

We've measured each shirt by WIDTH x LENGTH from the collar, and organized them into our own sizing.

Please use a t-shirt you own to measure and find the right size for you.

Care: Washing + Ironing

To extend the ink's life, wash at 30° C inside-out.

Iron with a sheet of paper between the iron and ink.

Fulfilment times

Puzzles are fulfilled within 5 business days; all other products are usually fulfilled within one business day. 

Delivery times

Shipments are usually delivered within 🇩🇪 Germany within 1 week after shipment, and within 🇪🇺 the EEA 2 weeks after shipment. 

Tracked shipments to 🇺🇸 the US can take up to 15 days for delivery after shipment. Untracked shipments to 🇺🇸 the US can take up to 45 days for delivery after shipment. It's a long boat ride, thanks for your patience! 🚣

About the Artist

Painter & illustrator Rory Midhani makes artwork about queer and trans people living their lives and loving it. He creates mixed-media pieces, paintings, and drawings all which playfully celebrate the lives of the queer community. 

His artworks have been featured in publications and exhibitions across Europe and North America, and he has worked as an illustrator for an international client base. Past clients include Buzzfeed, Medium, Folx Health, Transgender Europe, Flow Magazine, Curve, Siegessäule, Planned Parenthood and Autostraddle. 

He also illustrated one of our puzzles and our Bettgeflüster workbook.
