Care (they/them, iel/iels/ielles) est une personne trans non-binaire né* d’une mère française et d’un père congolais, praticien.ne somatique abolitionniste, éducateur.ice, artiste et doula. Iel travaille sur la réincorporation des expériences incarnées d’émerveillement, de connexion, du miracle et du soin. Son travail fleurit à l'intersection de l'intériorité noire, de la mémoire somatique et des intimités queer.
Toujours en réflexion sur son désir de retrouver un sentiment d'appartenance, iel crée des rituels et des cérémonies comme des portails à travers lesquels les personnes déplacées peuvent entrer dans un espace de guérison et d'imagination, loin des violences coloniales. Son travail est ancré dans une relation intime avec la terre, les ancêtres, la Nature, les éléments et le plus-que-humain.
Care étudie et pratique professionnellement l'astrologie, le tarot, le Reiki, l'hypnose, la thérapie somatique, la justice transformatrice et travaille en tant que doula à Berlin, en Allemagne. Iel est créateur.ice du jeu The Ancestral Healing Tarot deck et a créé et anime l'émission de radio "The Somatics of Care" sur Refuge Worldwide.

Finally a deck doesn’t demonize feelings and darkness. Instead you will find a beautifully curated Tarot deck with images inspiring understandings of the cards that come from an understanding of collectivity and lineage and working deeply with the elements. Darkness is no place of fear or evil here, it is a place of dense and expansive power that reaches so far back in lineages of wisdom it feels like we're traveling right to the source. This deck has empowered me to harness this power, love it and get comfortable embodying it. Also love that this deck does not need any kind of binary or hierarchy. The art and writing are so charming and intriguing there is just an expansiveness to be explored to draw our own meaning. The extensive guidebook on the website is absolutely wonderful to work with! I love the affirmations and astrological placements. It gives more understanding to my own astrological chart as well. Highly highly recommend the deck! Beautiful art, beautiful energy!

The Ancestral Healing Tarot Deck opens me up to the divinatory art and practice of tarot in a way that expands my human experience, my connection to my environment, my family and my lineage. It is a deck that centralizes connection, feeling and embodiment, while honouring the generations of ancestors through the altar like illustrations that each card has.
While the Ancestral Healing Tarot Deck honours traditional Tarot illustrations and symbols, it is different and special as it replaces the commonly used aristocratic and hierarchical symbols with earths 4 elements and the element of spirit. This grounding approach is achieved through vivid and detailed depictions of fire, air, water, earth and spirit, while maintaining a correspondence to the essence and practice of traditional tarot. The Ancestral Healing Tarot Deck reflects on power, pain, belonging, love, fear, community and being in way that is cathartic, authentic and wholesome. All Black and Indigenous ancestors depicted in the deck are in worlds and realms which Care has depicted with sincerity and respect. Again, all collage-like depictions place such careful and intentional attention to earth's elemental beauty and the sanctity of spirit. Engaging with this tarot deck, is a beautiful reminder of the grounding and healing practice of tarot. With every reading and spread I am surrounded by a healing energy.
